Houston, Texas (KTRK) – With recession and inflation fears, the ABC13 Who’s Hiring job fair will look at how to navigate this period, and you can land a job, too.
At 10 a.m., we’re partnering with Workforce Solutions to host a virtual job fair.
During the event, recruiters will receive calls, social media messages and online applications to match people to jobs.
If you apply, you can have an interview in a matter of days. Jobs pay at least $15 an hour, and employers involved in the event are motivated to hire quickly.
There are jobs in the fields of taxation, manufacturing, and information technology.

Later this month, ABC13 Localish will show The Katy District.
During the event, we will have a manager from Katy’s Workforce Solutions site to talk about job opportunities there. We will also have the Director of Economic Development for the City of Fulcher.
On Thursday, the latest inflation report showed it rose 0.04% in September, and overall inflation rose 8.2% on all goods compared to a year ago.
With recession in danger, we’ll also talk about what you need to know about how this might affect your job search.
